Brisbane based colourist Angela Cerasi transformed the footage with a warm and bold colour grade in this uniquely Brisbane Marketing campaign.  The campaign was directed by Stephen Lance and Mairi Cameron from Taxi Film Production.  Post Production was completed by The Post Lounge, Brisbane.  Hugh Miller ACS shot the stunning images on the large format Alex LF camera.  They also worked with photographer Jesse Smith.

Nothing’s changed, everything’s different”, proclaims Brisbane Marketing’s latest campaign, created by VML in partnership with Ikon.  This campaign was VML’s first with the client since they were awarded the account in September 2019, following a competitive pitch process.

The Brisbane MD of VML, Adam Kennedy was effusive about the subject of the campaign in this article:

“We bloody love Brisbane – we know locals do as well – so it was important to partner with the Brisbane creative community, established and emerging, to help bring the brand idea to life.

We hope this campaign will drive Brisbane residents to share their love and passion for their great city.”

The launch of the commercial was part of an ambitious campaign to increase visitor expenditure to the Brisbane region by an additional $6.5 billion a year.

The ad campaign features an incredible cover by musician Megan Washington giving her rendition of Powderfinger’s song “My Happiness”.

The potential for your images to be striking, bold and scroll-stoppable is just a colour grade away.  To see another campaign showcasing incredible Australian scenery, check out this Tourism Queensland campaign, “Days Like These“.  That campaign also featured a bold and warm colour grade which enhanced the beauty of Brisbane and Queensland.
