The Peachy Keen Colour team showcased their remote colour grading skills on the second season of the hit ABC series Old People’s Home for Teens. Senior Colourist Angela Cerasi worked closely with the team at Endemol Shine Australia, particularly the Post Production Supervisor David Morris and Senior Post Production Supervisor John Tsakonas, with additional feedback from the excellent executive producing team of Tony de la Pena, Debbie Cuell, Brooke Hulsman & Paulo Vivan.
In a compelling new intergenerational experiment, older adults are brought together with teenagers to see if the power of this intergenerational program can transform the lives of older people and teenagers amid an epidemic of loneliness. =
The concept of the show is “intergenerational practice”: the purposeful bringing together of different generations, aiming to benefit all involved. When older and younger people are together, each can share their unique knowledge, experiences and perspectives and more meaningful connections can develop. Intergenerational households are rarer in Australia than in many cultures so this series aims to bridge this barrier and show how important these connections are for everyone.

Old People’s Home for Teens was winner of the 2022 AACTA Award for Best Factual Entertainment Program. The series followed a successful first season Old People’s Home for Four Year Olds.
