Angela Cerasi did the colour grade for this Pillowtalk Christmas commercial in 2024. Angela Cerasi graded 100% remotely with Brisbane production company Stranger Films, with Creative Director & Director Tony Walsh and DOP Brian Loewe providing the brief and feedback on the grade. This flexible workflow meant that Tony and Brian were able to juggle reviewing the colour grade around their shoot days and commitments on other projects.
The commercial was shot in 8K and the production company wanted to keep the full resolution in the colour grade, as it was going to have a cinematic release. A hard drive was delivered to Angela’s home studio and she was able to plug it in and start grading straight away.
The brief was to keep the warm, cozy Christmas vibes while maintaining a clean, light, pure, soft look with lots of colour contrast and detail in the furnishings and decor.
