Peachy Senior Colourist Angela Cerasi graded this short brand film for Anglicare Southern Queensland, to give it a cinematic, warm and moody feel.  The film was directed by Benjamin Flaxman, who collaborated on the campaign with production company ONYX.   Filmed on location in Longreach, Queensland, the ‘Our Most Remote Care Worker’ film follows care worker Andrea and her incredible journey throughout the region helping seniors living on remote outback properties.

According to the Anglicare website, their home care workers travel more than travel more than 6 million kilometres across Queensland each year to help seniors in remote locations. Longreach, where this campaign was filmed, is known as “the heart of the outback”.  The town, which is the nearest town for many of central Queensland’s most remote stations and properties, is 13 hours by car from Brisbane, and is home to the traditional lands of the Iningai people.

Although care worker Andrea is now based in Longreach, she still often travels more than 300 kilometres in a day, visiting clients on remote properties so they can safely and comfortably remain in their own homes.  Anglicare North Queensland prides themselves on delivering trusted, quality aged care services to those who need them, no matter how remotely they may live.  Anglicare has more than 3,000 health and care staff members who help seniors maintain their independance by helping them with tasks like delivering medication and health checks, cooking and cleaning services, transport and social support services.

DOP Julian Panetta captured the gorgeous images, using an Alexa Mini + Panavision T series Anamorphic camera, in full anamorphic glory!  The cinematic Queensland country town surrounded by endless vistas of red dust and blue skies were then enhanced and transformed into the warm and moody grade.
